Hello and welcome to Herb’n Sage. My name is Sage, I live in Southern California and have a Masters Degree in Business and Administration (MBA) from Channel Islands University. I’m a first time mom, trying to make the healthiest foods to go into my little one’s tummy. I currently live with my husband, Brent, and our beautiful daughter, Alaia (she’s the inspiration for this website and all the delicious recipes that I prepare). We also have the cutest most lovable dog, Piper, who enjoys all these meals from below the highchair😉
Preparing food has always been such an enjoyable experience of mine, so I thought, “why not prepare my own baby’s food?” Knowing exactly what goes into my baby of the healthiest nutritious dense food is my primary goal. Babies who are introduced to fresh vegetables and fruits are more receptive to new textures, smells, and tastes of foods served to them. I want to give my baby the taste of delicious and fresh foods without any added preservatives, salt, or sugar.
Everything on my blog here at Herb’n Sage is based on my own culinary experiences with my baby. Of course every baby is different and what works for me, may not work for you, so please use your own instincts when deciding what is best for your child.
